Wavus Summer Camp - Altered Camp T-Shirt

Note: not for a beginner, This project will take some time to sew!

Supplies

Pattern, T shirt, facing fabric, needle, thread, scissors, chalk, pins

How

Use the paper pattern in the blue notebook to cut the scalloped shape along the bottom hem of your camp T-shirt, shorts or pants by drawing the shape on your hem. Chalk will work well on dark colors.
Cut out the shape.
Cut an additional 'facing' fabric about 4" tall that will fit the circumference of your T shirt. This will be sewn on to it.
Place the cut hem edge onto the facing fabric, RIGHT SIDES TOGETHER. Pin and then stitch around the edges of scallop, 1/4" in from edge.
Trim the seams, clip the curves.
Turn right side out and stitch facing along top edge to T shirt with a running, hem or other stitch.
