Midcoast Altered Couture Contest, a fashion show fundraiser organized by Christine DeTroy that raised $2000.00 for Portland Youth Dance
The event is held annually at Ft. Andross, Tickets sold thru
Frontier Cafe.

Papier mache may be French for ‘chewed paper’ but we won’t use our own teeth to make it! Flour, water and newspaper may be formed into any shape you can dream up: hats, masks, fins, bowls or animal figures. Build shapes using layers, forms or an armature. Transform humble, non-toxic materials into one of a kind merrymaking paraphernalia!  This workshop comes just in time if you wish to join the All Species Parade Friday, May 8th.
Materials: Please bring one newspaper and wear an apron or old T-shirt.
Optional materials: specialty papers, magazine clippings, cloth
For: beginners and all!
Fee: $20.00 per person (50% of the class fees will go to Spindleworks 50% to instructor)
Time: 2 hours
