felt thingies

I wanted to make felt discs to use as buttons. I rolled different colored wool fibers together and created a cigar-shaped  object which I felted by hand. Once dry, I cut it into 3/8" slices. They were not felted as firmly as I had hoped so I stitched the slices into mulsin and threw them in the washer and dryer with a load of laundry. These are the results. Still not as firm as I had hoped. but better and maybe useful for another project.
